Manage order, account, security and campaign messages with consent, templates, triggers, providers and delivery records.

Separate transactional and marketing communication

Order confirmation, password reset and security codes are transactional messages required by the service; campaigns and win-back communication follow different consent and frequency rules. If audience selection, consent source, opt-out choice and retention are undefined, more messages create complaints and reputation loss rather than a better experience.

Design trigger, template and provider as separate layers

Define exactly when “order shipped” occurs, which localized template it uses and whether it sends SMS or email. When a required variable is missing, stop the message or use a reviewed safe fallback. Provider timeout and delivery failure need a retry policy, while every attempt remains tied to one message identity.

What the MarketOne communication centre manages

MarketOne keeps email accounts, SMS providers, WhatsApp Web and push configurations in one integration area. Templates can support order, verification, password, cart and campaign scenarios. Delivery records retain channel, provider, recipient, status, error and timestamp so teams can diagnose exceptions instead of sending blindly.

Choose the channel by urgency and content

A security code or delivery alert benefits from a short, immediate channel; invoices, detailed order summaries and longer content fit email. Campaigns need segmentation, quiet hours, frequency caps and opt-out handling. A backup provider for critical messages still requires deduplication to avoid sending the same message twice.

Go-live checklist

Transactional and marketing message separation
Consent source and opt-out record
Approved templates by language and scenario
Missing-variable and safe-fallback rule
Retry, backup-provider and deduplication policy
Delivery, failure, complaint and conversion reporting

Which metrics should define success?

Before launch, measure manual minutes per order, failure-related cancellations, inventory mismatch, failed transfers, support volume and resolution time. Compare weekly during the first four weeks and monthly thereafter. Value is not limited to revenue growth: less rework, faster reconciliation and visible exceptions are equally important outcomes.

Common implementation mistakes

Activating every channel on the same day
Moving data before defining SKU and status dictionaries
Testing only the successful path
Leaving retry rules and exception ownership undefined
Trusting automation without a daily reconciliation report
