Design card and bank-transfer payments so they remain secure, traceable and consistent with the complete order lifecycle.

A payment response is not the same as a completed order

A bank approval shown to the shopper should not by itself finalize an order. The redirect page can close, a notification can arrive late or the same message can be repeated. A dependable design verifies provider reference, amount, currency, order identity and signature on the server, processes the result once and advances only a verified payment.

Manage card and transfer flows with separate rules

For iyzico and PayTR, separate test and live credentials and verify 3D Secure results, webhooks, refunds and partial refunds. A bank-transfer flow needs IBAN, payment reference, receipt, manual or automatic approval, expiry and an unmatched-payment queue. In both models, duplicate callbacks must never create a second order or charge.

How MarketOne manages payment channels

MarketOne stores PayTR, iyzico and bank-account methods as separate configurations. Channel type, mode, priority and active state remain visible, and transfer accounts can be associated with orders. The objective is to connect the verified result with order, customer, invoice and refund operations rather than reproduce the provider portal.

Look beyond the transaction fee

Evaluate settlement time, supported cards, 3D Secure behavior, instalments, refund processing, webhook security, sandbox quality, reports and reconciliation exports. When two gateways are active, routing and fallback rules must be explicit, and the shopper needs a safe retry path after failure.

Go-live checklist

Strict separation of test and live credentials
Webhook signature and amount verification
Idempotency for repeated notifications
Full and partial refund tests
Transfer reference and approval owner
Daily gateway-to-order reconciliation

Which metrics should define success?

Before launch, measure manual minutes per order, failure-related cancellations, inventory mismatch, failed transfers, support volume and resolution time. Compare weekly during the first four weeks and monthly thereafter. Value is not limited to revenue growth: less rework, faster reconciliation and visible exceptions are equally important outcomes.

Common implementation mistakes

Activating every channel on the same day
Moving data before defining SKU and status dictionaries
Testing only the successful path
Leaving retry rules and exception ownership undefined
Trusting automation without a daily reconciliation report
